Lapis from Iran is less common in our listings, and this 15.50 ct stone is one of them. It weighs 17.03 ratti and costs Rs. 5,810, about Rs. 375 per carat. A fair price for an unusual source.
For a ring, ask for a slightly raised setting so the stone sits clear of the band and catches the light. Lapis is soft compared with sapphire or quartz, so it is best kept for careful wear. It has not had a lab test for treatment.
