Mid-size and well priced, this lapis weighs 14.35 ct, which is 15.77 ratti. You pay Rs. 5,400, about Rs. 376 per carat. It sits in the sweet spot for a men's ring with presence.
Before setting, ask the jeweller to measure the stone, not guess from the photo. A snug fit stops it rocking and chipping at the girdle. The stone has not been tested for treatment by a lab; testing is available to you whenever you wish.
