Afghan sapphire does not get as much attention as Ceylon or Kashmir, which is part of why this one is fairly priced. It is a 4.45 ct deep blue oval, 4.89 ratti, for Rs. 17,800, which is Rs. 4,000 per carat.
The weight sits nicely in the middle range: big enough to be noticed on a men's ring, not so big that it catches on everything. A lab has not checked it for treatment, and you are free to have one do so. Order above Rs. 15,000 and delivery is on us.
