Pinkish red with a soft, rosy warmth, this oval ruby weighs 6.90 ct, or 7.58 ratti. At Rs. 11,250 it works out to roughly Rs. 1,630 per carat, one of the gentler prices we have for a ruby of this weight.
The rosy tone looks lovely against yellow gold, and the size is generous enough for a bold ring or a simple pendant. To keep it bright, wash it in warm soapy water with a soft brush now and then. It has not been tested for treatment, so feel free to take it to a lab of your choice.
