A big drop-shaped Neelam for nine thousand rupees. It weighs 5.85 ct (6.43 ratti), shows a deep blue and costs about Rs. 1,538 per carat.
The drop shape is ideal for a pendant, where it hangs naturally and shows its full length. In a ring, ask for a V-prong at the tip for protection. Its origin was never recorded, and no treatment test has been done. Delivery is Rs. 400 on top of the price, paid in cash with the stone.
