An Afghan sapphire priced a little above its neighbours. This deep blue oval weighs 2.40 ct (2.64 ratti) and costs Rs. 18,000.
That is Rs. 7,500 per carat, close to double the rate of most of our Afghan stones. It is a comfortable size for a ring on either hand. No lab has tested it for treatment. Delivery is free over Rs. 15,000, so this one ships at no cost.
