Round cuts are less common in our peridots, and this Afghan Zabarjad is one: 1.75 ct, or 1.92 ratti, priced at Rs. 8,250 (about Rs. 4,714 per carat).
A round stone suits a solitaire ring or stud setting, where the symmetry shows from every angle. It is also the simplest shape for a jeweller to set. Take it off before cooking or cleaning to protect the polish. It has not been lab-tested for treatment, and you may have that checked. Delivery is Rs. 400 and payment is in cash on arrival.
