Sri Lanka sends us this grey moonstone, weighing 7.40 ct, which equals 8.13 ratti. Rs. 4,880 is the price, about Rs. 659 per carat.
Grey moonstone has an understated, smoky feel, like monsoon clouds before rain. It is easy to wear with both eastern and western clothes. For cleaning, mild soap and lukewarm water are enough, followed by a soft towel. We have not had it lab-tested for treatment, so feel free to arrange a test.
