Small and green, this Afghan malachite weighs 6.40 ct, or 7.03 ratti. At Rs. 1,350 it is about Rs. 211 per carat, an easy price for a first coloured stone. Its size suits a slim ring or a small pendant.
For a ring, choose a design where the metal sits slightly higher than the stone, so the surface is protected. It has not been tested for treatment, and testing it later is your decision. You pay the full Rs. 1,750, delivery included, only when it is in your hands.
