Jade, or Yashab, is prized less for hardness than for toughness: its interlocking structure makes it hard to break. This piece weighs 10.75 ct, or 11.81 ratti, and costs Rs. 6,450, which is Rs. 600 per carat. That size works well for a men's ring.
The Mughal court had a deep love of carved jade, and the stone still carries that sense of quiet luxury. This one has not been tested for treatment, and you are welcome to have it examined after delivery. Delivery adds Rs. 400 to the Rs. 6,450 price, and you pay both in cash on arrival.
