Over thirty ratti in a single sapphire. This deep blue oval weighs 27.55 ct (30.27 ratti) and is priced at Rs. 26,250, about Rs. 953 per carat.
It is a stone to build a piece around: a pendant with a heavy bail, or a brooch for a sherwani on a wedding day. Few buyers will want it in a ring, though it can be done with a broad mount. We have nothing on record about its origin, and treatment has not been tested. Delivery is on the house.
