Raja Bazaar and beyond
Walk through Raja Bazaar or the lanes around Moti Bazaar and you will find stone sellers with trays of Aqeeq, Feroza and Dur-e-Najaf, often next to shops selling silver rings ready to take them. It is a lively, crowded way to buy, and a good place to get a feel for colours and prices. Saddar has its own share of jewellers too.
We are not a Rawalpindi shop, and we have no office in the city. We are an online shop that sends each stone by courier, with its weight, price and photo listed up front.
Stones Pindi buyers tend to ask for
Requests from Rawalpindi lean towards the stones of those bazaar trays. Yemeni Aqeeq in deep orange and red is a favourite for men's rings, and Sulemani Aqeeq, with its dark bands, is close behind. Dur-e-Najaf is often bought for its religious associations, and Feroza is a perennial choice. Black Aqeeq makes a plain, strong ring stone that suits daily wear.
Aqeeq is hard enough for everyday rings, about 7 on the hardness scale, so it copes well with work and travel.
Delivery to Rawalpindi
Every order is dispatched within one working day by tracked courier. Most parcels take 2 to 5 working days, and the twin cities are often among the faster routes. We do not promise next-day delivery.
- Cash on Delivery: pay the rider, nothing in advance
- Rs. 400 delivery per order
- Free delivery on orders of Rs. 15,000 or more
Testing before you set it
If you would like a stone checked, take it to a gem lab of your choice in Rawalpindi or Islamabad within 7 days of delivery. Do this before your jeweller sets it, because a set stone cannot be returned. If a lab finds it is not the natural gem we described, we refund in full, including delivery. See how we check for what we look at before listing.
