Gems in the walled city
For generations, Lahore's jewellery trade has centred on the old city. The goldsmiths of Suha Bazaar, the crowded lanes of Shah Alami and the busy stretch of Anarkali have dressed brides and fitted rings for families across Punjab. Wedding season fills those lanes, and a gemstone is often part of the gift.
We are not one of those bazaar shops. Real Gems works from Lahore Medical Housing Society, off Usman Gani Road, and sells online: every loose stone is listed with its weight, price and photo, so you can choose at home and then take the stone to your own jeweller.
Stones Lahore asks for
Lahore buyers often come to us for Pukhraj, traditionally linked with Jupiter and a common family recommendation. Neelam is popular too. For wedding gifts and engagement pieces, Zamurd and Yaqoot come up again and again, and garnet is a warm, affordable red for a first ring.
If an elder has suggested a weight in ratti, check whether they meant standard or sunari ratti. Our ratti converter shows both, and every listing uses the standard 0.91 carat ratti.

Testing in Lahore
If you would like a stone checked, you can take it to a gem lab of your choice in Lahore within 7 days of delivery. Keep it unset until you have the result. If a lab finds it is not the natural gem we described, we refund in full, including delivery. Our how we check page explains what we look at before listing.
