Bangles, Shahi Bazaar and jewellery
Hyderabad in Sindh is known across the country for its glass bangles, made in the city's workshops and sold by the dozen in every colour. Shahi Bazaar, one of the longest bazaars in Pakistan, runs through the old city with jewellers, cloth sellers and bangle shops along the way. Jewellery here is part of everyday life, not only for weddings.
We are not a Hyderabad business and have no shop there. We send loose stones by courier, each listed with its weight in carats and ratti, its price and a photo.

Red stones are well loved in Sindh. Marjan, the red coral linked with Mars in tradition, is a frequent request, as is Yaqoot for a special ring. Red Aqeeq gives a similar warm colour at a gentle price. Moti remains a classic for women's jewellery and gifts, and moonstone, with its soft glow, is a pretty choice for a pendant.
Coral and pearl are soft and sensitive to heat, acids and perfume. Put them on last when you get dressed and take them off first.

You are welcome to take any stone to a gem lab of your choice within 7 days of delivery, before setting it. If a lab finds it is not the natural gem we described, we refund in full. The details are on our returns page.
