The city of wrestlers
Gujranwala is often called the city of pehlwans, thanks to its long tradition of wrestling, and it is just as famous for its food. It is also a hard-working industrial city, turning out fans, metalwork and much more. In its sarafa bazaar, goldsmiths and ring makers serve families from the city and the villages around it.
We do not have a shop or office in Gujranwala. We are an online shop that sends stones by courier, each listed with its weight, price and photo.
Bold stones for men's rings
Many orders from Gujranwala are for men's rings, and the choices tend to be strong and simple. Yaqoot in a deep red is a popular pick for a special ring. Black Aqeeq is a plain, sturdy stone for daily wear. Tiger's Eye, with its moving band of golden light, is a favourite with younger buyers, and polished hematite gives a sleek, metallic look. Marjan is also asked for by many who follow its traditional link with Mars.
A practical tip for working hands: hematite and coral are softer than they look, so take the ring off for heavy work.

Testing before setting
If you would like a stone checked, take it to a gem lab of your choice within 7 days of delivery. Do it before the stone goes to your jeweller, because a set stone cannot be returned. If a lab finds it is not the natural gem we described, we refund in full. See our returns page for details.
